The British team Four Kings Gaming Royalty have announced they will no longer be taking part in the NGL One league. The news comes following Marc Mangiacapra's departure from the squad to play CS: Source. The team will not be replaced in the third season of the NGL One League and as a result all their matches will be given a forfeit 16-0 defeat. Here is the official statement released by NGL One.
This move by one of Counter-Strike's oldest teams and top British squad shows how 4 Kings have faced a rapid decline recently, especially after having suffered a defeat at the local ESWC qualifiers at the hands of rival Team Dignitas. Only time will tell if they will be able to recover. |
