Two time defending ESEA Invite champions NiP have decided to drop out of the ongoing season, and will be replaced by LGB eSports. NiP have won both of the global ESEA Invite seasons, defeating the team of Spencer "hiko" Martin and Kory "semphis" Friesen in the grand final of each, under the names of Quantic Gaming and compLexity. Now with ESEA's fifteenth season, third global Invite season overall, just having begun, the Swedish powerhouse have decided to withdraw from the competition as other teams already started their campaign.
NiP cited their wish to have a vacation in January, when the global finals are expected to be held in Dallas, TX, as their reasoning for missing the current ESEA season as they focus on this fall's tournaments. Replacing NiP will be LGB eSports, who recently triumphed in the Swedish ESWC qualifier over SK Gaming.
LGB's first matches will be against UniversalSoldiers and Natus Vincere on de_inferno. You can see their full schedule in ESEA Invite Season 15 by going to their team page. |
