The gather style tournament Areena #1 by SteelSeries has finished in Helsinki yesterday with Aleksi "allu" Jalli's team managing to win in front of Marcus "shaker" Pyysalo's squad which came in second.

Teams were picked with randomly drawn drafting order with a snake style draft (1-4, 4-1, 1-4, 4-1) to start the day. After four rounds of picks, the following teams were set for the day of competition at Pelitalo:

White team rolled through the group stage with three straight wins while the Green squad finished second and Red took down Blue, who were not able to win a single match. This set up the semi-final pairs for playoffs.

Jalli's squad continued dominating in the playoffs as they scored a quick 2-0 win over Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen's Blue squad with a 16-9 score on de_train and a 16-1 win on de_inferno.

The other semi-final was much closer as Green beat Red 16-11 on de_inferno and then lost in overtime after winning nine straight rounds to force an overtime on de_nuke. Eventually they would come out on top on de_tuscan 16-9.

White: suNny, lomppe, allu, Kuppi & Twista 

Blue team's misfortune continued on the third place decider as they lost 11-16 on de_tuscan and 10-16 on de_nuke while Niko "naSu" Kovanen's Red team clinched the third place finish. 

Grand final saw White team lose their first map as they fell short 9-16 on de_inferno, but then evened the series with a monster performance from captain Jalli on de_train. It all came down to de_dust2, where rookie Miikka "suNny" Kemppi's 27/11 score helped his team win the series.

2.  Green - 75€ + 5x SteelSeries 6Gv2 + 5x ESEA Premium
3.  Red - 75€ - 5x SteelSeries QcK Heavy + 5x ESEA Premium
4.  Blue - 5x ESEA Premium
